Around the world, one in every three women has been beaten or sexually assaulted and one in six men will experience a sexual assault in his lifetime. Opening the heart and mind to survivors is critical to breaking the silence surrounding sexual violence. This discussion will provide information for friends, family, partners and caring community members
on how to support, empower and validate survivors as they begin their healing journeys. The discussion will also provide participants with information about campus and community resources for survivors and their supporters.
