April 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide and to remember the genocide we would like to raise awareness about the genocide and its continuing influence on its people. We would like to host a mini film series with speakers. 

Guest speakers: Marie-France Collard: Prize winning director, directed the films Rwanda 94 and Bruxelles-Kigali, Martine Beckers: humanitarian activist, she lost her sister during the genocide and is a human righst activists speaker, Emmanuel Habimana: co-director of the film Komora: To heal, and a genocide survivor who was orphnaed durnig the genocide. 

April 2: 7pm: Screening of the film Rwanda 94 followed by a question and answer session with the award winning director Marie-France Collard

April 3: 7pm: Screening of the film Bruxelles-Kigali followed by a question and answer session with Martine Beckers and Marie-France Collard. 

April 4: 5-7pm: Screening of the documentary Komora: To Heal 2:30. Followed by a panel discussion with Marie-France Collard, Martine Beckers, and Emmanuel Habimana discussing post genocide Rwanda.
